“Really tired of all this Kony 2012 bullshit.
Hear me out.
The documentary you are all seeing now was first released 10 years ago, he’s either been caught or is dead by now.
The company, Invisible children, only gives 32% of it’s over all earnings toward its cause. The rest is spent on their employees.
Joseph Kony has been on the United state’s radar for 10 years now. Meaning he’s most likely dead …or captured. Not only that but the Ugandan government has been accused and does the things that Kony supposedly does.
Yes these facts are debatable, am I asking for a discussion on it?
No, I just want to let you know that there are more angles and sides to this story and you should look more into what you support if you really really are so forward about it.
I personally am tired of hearing all this “MAKE KONY FAMOUS” or “ARREST THIS GUY” because of one reason, he’s probably one of many and that there are much more people that do this than him.
It’s the same as the Bin laden scenario. Kony is one of probably 1000’s that do those things. It annoys me to see how people think by killing people like Osama, or Kony that the problem will go away because it won’t. These people aren’t unified by just Kony, there are more leaders and people we don’t know about that already do these things. Meaning, that if you’re gonna post things about how he needs to go for the sake of children and other things, you need to consider that he is probably only one of the many heads of that hydra”—
